The number of connected external components within an application can make the number of potential sources of error almost infinitely. Cloud-native applications must be prepared for error situations.
Resilience patterns provide solutions that can be used to mitigate problems that might occur in the environment. However, an unreflected integration of these patterns is also error-prone or even counterproductive with regard to a clean software architecture (in Go).
The presentation introduces common resilience design patterns with examples.
